Meet Your Instructor: Michel Bauwens
Michel Bauwens is the founder of the P2P Foundation, one of the world’s leading voices on the commons and cosmolocalism. For over two decades, he has researched and shaped how peer-to-peer networks, open knowledge, and cooperative models can transform our economies.
Michel is among the rare few who personally exchanged with Satoshi Nakamoto and even published the Bitcoin whitepaper on the P2P Foundation forum helping spark the revolution we now call Web3.
As a thinker, writer, and activist, Michel’s work bridges philosophy, technology, and real-world commons. His insights have influenced policymakers, grassroots communities, and blockchain pioneers alike.
In this course, Michel will guide you through the future of commons and Web3 and why the shift from extractive economies to regenerative systems matters for all of us.
